"When trying to decide what the shoe was going to look like, I toyed with a few different conceptssomething Seattle-related, something Hawaii-related, etc. I wanted to be sure that the DNA of the brand was clearly represented, but didn’t want to worry about every color or fabric choice having to mean something. I think we ended up with something very wearable and classy, while at the same time being true to the brand with the material and hardware choices."

 Flying Coffin is a Seattle-based lifestyle brand founded by Hawaii native Jason Gomez, whose deep-rooted passions for hardcore music and art fostered the establishment and continued evolution of the brand. Both inspired by similar interests, The Hundreds and Flying Coffin have teamed up to create a limited edition two-piece capsule collection €“ encompassing a graphic tee and a pair of sneakers €“ inspired heavily by the hesher milieu, as well as the metal subculture that nurtured it.
